If you enjoy a beverage every now and then, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you expect to use on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a win following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t mix.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a little dramatic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is necessary. If you gamble to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to burn your money without a concern, then consume all the gratuitous beer you can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk self throws away all the cash!
