Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a beer from time to time, keep your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all money, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Take only the cash you anticipate to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you intend to squander and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well have a win after a boozy night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and gamble. The two just do not go well together.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a little drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to burn your money nary a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away all the cash!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then go on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but because I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both make for an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
